So new year, new plans. anyone want to share?

I have planned a small vacation this year so far. But nothing too big yet. Would love to see the beach again this year.

This year is going well for me so far. Anyone else want to share ups or downs?

I have an up to share, but it's slightly R-rated: I made my best friend laugh last night.
She had some random guy ask who the last man she texted was. She was all mad about that, and asked what I would if some random guy asked me that. I said I'd respond with the most ridiculous response I could come up. I'd probably say it was the President of the United States because I was his mistress. Or it would be Cornelius Vanderbilt's ghost. Or Abe Lincoln's ghost, because I was arranging a menage a trois with him, Obama, and me. Point was, whatever I said, it would be the most ridiculous, off the wall, and unbelievable thing I could think of.

Georgia! I usually pass thru but want to stay and visit this time.

I want to add a puppy to the family year. Anyone else adding a family member this year?

So, I may be crazy but I think I may going for another certification, this will be my 4th. Every time I achieve one I think "maybe this one will be my last" but I am trying to stay relevant in my career and ahead of the curve. You know?

Planning a few vacation this year. Anyone else?

Yeah. We're going to St Mary's County in southern Maryland next week. There's a living history place I've been dying to see down there. While I was flipping through a brochure about St. Mary's County, I found some other stuff I want to see while we're there.

Thanks! The hotel sucked, but other than that, my vacation was nice. I'm glad you had a nice one.

I got a new laptop. The screen on my old one was half hanging off, and I was afraid to open it, pick it up, or touch it.

I have a few more camping trips planned this year. What are you planning for the rest of 2023?

I think I'm going to stay home and try to avoid people as much as possible for the rest of 2023. There's been a massive surge in covid cases, and lots of people aren't wearing masks. I've already had covid before and want to avoid getting it again.

I had laptop problems today, and had to get that fixed. I'm grateful it wasn't too bad, and I'm really grateful it wasn't too expensive. I wasn't sure I'd be able to log into Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, though.

Now it is December?? Year is flying by!

I passed my test. I now have a new certification! This makes 4 certs. for me now. I am so glad I passed it.

It is very cold here which is not typical. Are you cold too?

What is up with this weather? Cold here again, after it was up to 70! UGG. I am ready for summer.

I have to take my cat to the animal hospital later this week for a follow-up and some more tests. I'm panicking a bit because one of the tests is super expensive and I don't have the money for it, but he probably needs it. (It's a sonogram, and it costs $800, and the vet wants to see if my cat has a tumor or something else.)

Well, let us know how it goes. Yes a sonogram for a cat, wow. I'm sure it will be expensive. I hope your cat gets a clean bill of health.

Thanks. We ended up skipping the sonogram because I couldn't afford an $800 sonogram. But the vet did call back with the results of the blood test they did; apparently, my cat has pancreatitis.

I am back from my trip to Antigua! It was great!

We're going on vacation tomorrow, too. We're going to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. I have friends who own a bookstore there.

So, I planted some sunflower this summer! So far they are doing well. I can't wait for them to come up and open. I love sunflowers. Do you have a favorite flower???

Thanks! They said he had an upper respiratory infection and gave him an injection. Since he's a senior cat with the kitty version of HIV/AIDS, they also wanted to do a blood pressure screening, a blood test, and a well-kitty exam, so we did that today. I met the new vet they hired; I liked her.

I am glad your cat is doing well. It is exciting to know you like the new vet. It is always good to have vet options.

We just purchased a new (2025) camper, a 5th wheel! We even got a good deal for our old (2019) camper 5th wheel for a trade in. So excited!!
