Hey Marybeth! Unfortunately, I'm sad to report that I didn't much care for "Two Way Street". :( It was good in concept; but it got caught up in way too much tech-speak of the time, and that annoyed me. The book was published in 2007, which normally wouldn't bother me at all (I'm not the kind of person who reads only current books) but almost every chapter the characters talk about their MySpace profiles, or their new, ultra-cool flip phones, or whatever, and it's like "Can we just move on?!" Anyway. Reading this book, it quickly becomes apparent that 2007 really WAS quite a few years ago; even if I don't really feel that way!

However, I am happy to say that my other 'road trip' themed book ("Hope Was Here", by Joan Bauer) was quite good!!

Peg - reading heals | 17 comments I'm stuck. Reading This is Where I Leave You and Skylight. I'm not clicking with either right now so I'm not reading much. I normally want to finish books, even if I'm trudging through them, before going on to others but I don't want to push through these right now. I'm going to have to pick a quick, fun "palate cleanser" to get my reading mojo back.

Peg - reading heals | 17 comments Carrisa wrote: "How do you add the picture of the book cover as a link or just the title of a book as a link? :o"
Just above the comment box is a link that says add book/author. While writing your comment, just click that link when you want to add the book's title. Search for the book and click add when you find it. You can choose whether to show the book's cover or a link to the title.

Deanna (anovelglimpse) Carrisa wrote: "How do you add the picture of the book cover as a link or just the title of a book as a link? :o"

Carrisa, You click on the add book/author link above the comment box. At the bottom of the popup box where you type the book/author you're looking for are two little circles where you can choose link or cover. Choose cover.

message 48: by Deanna (new)

Deanna (anovelglimpse) I'm currently reading Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver .
