A couple of things to keep in mind:
Communication is key. Please make sure to check in regularly with your team.
Let your team know if it looks like you won't get your review posted by Thursday, 11:59pm. You do have all of Friday to submit your review, but it can be intensely frustrating for your captain if they don't know when or if they can expect your review before the deadline.
If you know beforehand that you won't be able to read and review a book during a certain week, you can request a pre-arranged absence from me, either by posting the request in the discussion thread or by sending me a pm. The request has to be submitted before the team rolls for the week in question, can only be approved by me as the mod in charge of running the game, and has to state a reason for the absence. (Reasons for pre-arranged absences can include e.g. going on vacation or work trips, planned hospital stays, exam period, etc.)
If you do not have a pre-arranged absence and won't be able to finish your book in time for an unforeseen reason, please let your team know as soon as possible. If the team has earned the free pass, it can be used to cover the missing review. Without a free pass, the team has to sit out the next roll.
We all know that real life gets in the way sometimes, be it through family emergencies, work emergencies, natural disasters, technical problems making it impossible to get online, or in other ways. That being said, please do keep in mind that this is a team challenge and your team relies on you to do your part unless an emergency occurs.
If you find that the pressure of keeping up with the pace of the game gets too much for you or you wish to stop playing for any other reason, you can drop out of the challenge at any time. In that case, please let your team captain and/or me know that you wish to drop out rather than just disappearing without a word so your team won't be penalized when you fail to turn in your review. Thank you!
Captain's Handbook
The team's captain is its chief organizer. This includes rolling the dice, posting the team's new spot to the team thread and the Post Your Spot thread, collecting links to team members' review posts in a single post to be linked in the Post Your Spot thread, doublechecking that books and review posts comply with requirements, reminding team members to post their reviews in time if necessary, etc.
The captain may delegate some tasks, such as rolling and posting the new spot to the team thread, to another team member if they so choose. (Either a designated roller who fulfills this role every week, or whichever team member is online first once rolling is possible.) Collecting reviews into a single post and posting to the Post Your Spot thread should always be handled by the captain.
Instead of having everything handled by a single team captain, teams can also choose two co-captains to handle the workload.
Selection posts are not strictly required by the game's rules and I won't be checking for them. It's up to the team captain to decide whether they want them.
If the team captain requests a pre-arranged absence, it's their responsibility to arrange for another team member to step in as temporary captain.
The team captain is my primary point of contact for the team and should allow receiving private messages.

A super simple suggestion for a name: Super Six

I like the team name Super Six.

I'm good with Super Six for the team name

Anyone have an overwhelming desire to be Captain? I was captain last year, so I don't mind doing it again.

Should we jazz up our name a little bit since we have time? Like: Starring the Super Six!
Or some sort of adjective: The _____ Super Six (fill in the blank).
We could leave it at The Super Six, of course. 😄

I'm going to set up a dice rolling schedule for us so everyone gets a turn, If it's ok, I would like to set it up based on check in. so it would look something like this:
Michelle - 1/27
Meg - 2/3
Pallavi - 2/10
Nikki - 2/17
Krissy - 2/24
Michelle - 3/3
Meg - 3/10
Pallavi - 3/17
Nikki - 3/24
Krissy - 3/31
Any changes to the rolling schedule you want to make just let me know.
**VERY IMPORTANT**
A team CANNOT advance if all the reviews are not complete and in by the deadline. Reviews are due at the latest by end of day on Friday - 11.59pm Central Time. Without a free pass to cover a review still missing by deadline, the team will have to sit out the next roll. That being said, players should have their reviews in on Thursday as your team captain cannot roll until ALL of the team reviews have been posted.
❖If a player fails to have their book done two times throughout the game (excluding a prearranged absence) they will no longer be a part of the team.
Prearranged absence must be requested from the moderator in charge by pm or in your team thread before the team rolls for the week you need to skip

This is a light-hearted series starring Jill Gooder, a P.I. that happens to be a witch, and her talking, snarky one-eyed cat, Winky. Add her witch relatives and her all-too-human sister into the mix, and you get a lot of lively family drama. Oh, yea, gotta add Winky's courting ways with the cat Bella down the way from the office, and lovable Mrs. V and her marathon knitting. I found a lot of chuckle about in this one, while also wishing the darn twins would start acting more adult as their antics are wearing on me. In between all the family and office stuff Jill handily solves a couple of mysteries.

Review: I have enjoyed the books I've read so far from this series. I've been reading them in no certain order and they seem to hold up as standalones. I appreciate the ace representation in this book and thought Cam was perfect for Rafe. Rafe's mom really pissed me off but moms usually do with their overbearing ways. Cute book and excellent narration. Highly recommended the series for anyone looking for something light and fun

Review: This was a cute read. Whilst it started off a little slow, i enjoyed it more the further i got into it. Some of the characters were a little bit over simplified and the plot sweet but predictable though. that being so i still had fun with this instalment and will probably continue with the series.

How it fits: The Plated prisoner #4
Review:Just like the last three books, fourth book of the Plated prisoner series is filled with love, loss and jaw dropping cliffhanger!
Auren is finally free. One king is dead and another one takes her far away. As she slowly heals, other monarchs join force to plot against her and Rot King.
Slade used his power of Rot on Auren to save her from being consumed by her uncontrollable power. What he doesnt realise is how much it changed her. From wanting to constantly protect her to defending his kingdom, Slade is thinly stretched.
Saving either one would be catastrophic for other.
A total emotional rollercoaster ride!

Review: This was book 4 in the Incryptid Series. Alex and his GF head to Shelby's home in Australia to deal with a werewolf problem. The problem is bigger than they expected. On top of the werewolf issue, Alex has to deal with his gf's parents shitty attitude toward him. This was a bit aggravating to read because it never really got better no matter how much he helped out or whatever he did, they still acted like jerks. It got a little tiring to read. I'm glad the next book is centered on Verity again

This first in series featuring Lady Caroline was a light, easy cozy, set in Nice, France, post WWI. I enjoyed the story and mystery, even though the characters sometimes felt two-dimensional. Excepting Uncle Albert, that is, who was a fun, quirky guy, and whom I could picture immediately as soon as he was introduced. The scavenger hunt aspect of the story was quite humorous, and another is promised in the following book. I already have it earmarked.

Review: Normally I'm not a fan of established couples or second chance relationships unless it's part of a series. But I liked this one. I was a little frustrated that the guys didn't just sit down and hash it out with a nice long conversation. Get It all out there on the table. Honestly what Von did towards the end was completely fucked up. But if Justin just told Von what was going on then none of that would have happened. It was all due to bad communication. It all worked out in the end though.
