Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments I know a lot of people are reading To Kill a Mockingbird and The Road but I wanted to read something I haven't read before so I grabbed this out of the list of winners.

Won in 1980 but it sounds like something I might actually be interested in and I'll be honest there wasn't much on the list that interested me.

I think I'm going to start this when I'm done the one I'm working on right now. Just curious has anyone read this one?

I went through the list and didn't see a whole lot that interested me either. Idk that much about the Pullitzer but it seems like so many are just about families with not a whole lot of plot.

This is the only one that stuck out to me. But then i looked at the length... 1,103 pages (!) I really try to ignore length but I'm already really behind in the challenge. And that length is a little ridiculous. Decisions, decisions...

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments It's definitely going to be a long read, but It's got a lot of good reviews so I'm excited to see what it's like even though I probably would have never picked it up if it wasn't for this challenge. I might read it intermittently between weeks because it's so big, I don't know if I'll be able to read straight through it.
