No. I borrowed a three novella in one series and this was the first in it. It was so bad I did not read the other two novellas. Insta love so bad.

Title: Last Night at the Telegraph Club
Author: Malinda Lo
Would you recommend this book? Yes, absolutely. It was sad but beautiful. The climax of the story takes place around Chinese New Year.

Title: Penance
Author: Kanae Minato
Would you recommend this book? Absolutely. I'd recommend anything and everything by Kanae Minato. The holiday at the heart of the book, which is celebrated in the book, and upon which the tale draws its strength is Obun, the Japanese holiday for reverence for the dead.
