Hi,

This is my first discussion group on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. My debut collection of literary short stories, titled Self-Defense, was published last month by Cornerstone Press at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point as part of its Legacy Series, and I am looking for feedback about the book and about individual stories in it. (See links below for access to free individual stories. The book is available for purchase at Barnes & Noble, Amazon and all major retailers.) The book is getting excellent reviews.

I am also an avid reader of short stories and would love to read and comment on new published stories by others in the group.

My stories are about grifters, gamblers, ballroom dance instructors, wildcatters and other down-on-their-luck characters struggling with troubles that are often, but not exclusively, of their own making, including infidelity, anger, addiction, and PTSD.

My favorite writers are James Salter, Deborah Eisenberg, Joy Williams, Denis Johnson, Jonathan Lethem, Tobias Wolff, Dorthe Nors, etc.

Please tell me if I am not in an appropriate folder.
