This comment is more appropriate for question number 3 :-)

Sorry I got the wrong place. Now he changed places. I was amazed, because the comment, I had posted. It wasn't in the place where I thought it had been put. The comment has already been moved, and I reiterate my apologies. Yesterday I was writing three reviews, and I was on Youtube a lot, and I must have been wrong. By the way, one of the criticisms that I am going to publish is that of "The Screwtape Letters" that I have dedicated to the Professor, and to the whole group.

SUSAN | 87 comments "San Antonio was bristling with spies. One Mexican followed me about wherever I went, and one day I was accosted on the street by name by a man behind huge black spectacles, who upon being requested to remove them, revealed himself as a well-known operative of the intelligence service of one of our own Government Departments. He had had a long experience in Mexico, by the way." from chapter V.
I would love to know more about this incident. What was a U.S. government official, or spook, doing following and harassing a priest? The enemies of God have always worked their way into government and other institutions.

Fonch | 2255 comments It does not matter. These things can happen. Do not worry Susan 🤗.

Steven R. McEvoy (srmcevoy) | 145 comments It has taken me a number of days to sit down and write my review of this volume. I appreciated this work for that it was. But as mentioned, not what I was expecting. A case of judging a book by the cover and it not meeting expectations. I am very glad we read it as a group. And have enjoyed the insights of others in the various topics.

Fonch | 2255 comments I usually happen this. The hardcover only are an instrument to sell a book it does not influence in the contain of the book. It is pure merchandaising.

I have finished. This is my review:

Mariangel | 694 comments I found it particularly interesting that the book was written as the events were happening, from personal accounts to the author.

He did a great job trying to shine a light on the terrible situation, which as he repeats several times, was ignored or downplayed by the media all around the world. Although he also makes clear that the United States government knew what was happening.
