It's always good to remove books that you are no longer interested in.

That said, Magic Strikes is incredible. It's the book that turns the series from just OK to absolutely amazing. Also, if you do decide to give it another try, I highly recommend listening to the series on audio as Renee Raudman's narration makes all the difference.
