What a thrill ride! The action is literally non-stop as Kate struggles to prevent an all-out war between the shapeshifters and the People. Add Hugh D'Ambray's shenanigans to the mix, and things got heated really quick. But for me, the best part of the story is the continued growth of Kate and Curran's relationship. They've moved from lust/rosy glow to a deeper commitment that sustains them both through some pretty harrowing times in this book. This series just continues to get better and better, can't wait to get into the next one on my list!

Thanks Sandra! Yes, Ilona Andrews is one of my top fave authors too. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series, and will probably delve into the Innkeeper Chronicles or maybe The Edge books next. It's been quite a few years since I've read either of those.

They've just announced Clean Sweep is on KU, along with the new covers for the first 3 Hidden Legacy books and Fated Blades also. Not sure for how long though.

2nd book in the Lorimar pack series. This one started right where the action of first book ended, with Dell in jail. Loved this continuation of the story. The action picks up, Dell is rescued from jail but must take a trip to faerie. The romance is also dialed up. Isaac is trying to show her that he will be here for her. Great twists and turns, action and romance. Looking forward to finishing the series.

REVIEW:
This was a fun, cute, quick read. It's comprised of the first 3 novellas in the Ridgeville series: He ain't lion, You're lion and Ball of furry. The first two stories feature Maya Josephs. She attends a shifter party and ends up with the Prime of the lion pride. After spending the night with Alex she is unknowingly turned into a lion. Maya is an over the top character,full of sass and Maya-isms. I'm The second story we get a pregnant Maya who is keeping her lion pride on their toes. The third story features Carly who is Maya's best friend and a bunny shifter. She finds that Neal, lion shifter and ladies man is her mate. They also have to deal with someone trying to kill her.
Overall I enjoyed this read and will probably check out other books in the series.

Alice is having a bit of a hard time after the events in book 1. Hitting the bottle, not eating, not sleeping, but still working and closing cases.

Mark Dunlap, her old boss, comes to her with a case of missing "working girls" and it turns out more than just women have been taken. Seems like the cops have been dismissing the cases so no one is investigating them, but the rumour mill is blaming the vamps.

Trent Lake, the SPEMA agent, seems to be popping up around Alice, also Charles, from the Vampire court, and Sean Maclin, werewolf.

I was a bit worried there for a time as it was looking to be a love triangle but thankfully Alice gets her head on straight.

Alice is worried the people, including a werewolf & 2 vamps, as well as homeless people are being targeted by a 'harnard', a mage driven group, rather than vamps.

Lots of action, interviewing, bombs, misunderstandings, smexy times, saving lives & sadly death before its all sorted.

Really enjoyed this one. Looking forward to the next.
