Review: This is exactly why I love playing Bookshelf BINGO -- it's a spinoff from some other much enjoyed series I lost track of while waiting for new to publish. Now I'm back on track and wolfing through the rest of them.
This was so good that I also finished next two of the trilogy. Main character Chloe is a cat shifter who shifts into a common black housecat. (The black cat running through other series in the Magiford City universe.) Considers herself powerless compared to often bullying other supernaturals but definitely has a backbone. I loved the story, the characters and even the romance -- and some reveals happened that I badly wanted for all the other series. I didn't really get the Hades/Persephone vibe that author says she intended, probably because nothing squicky about the romance and Chlie was basically her only defense. I suspect to come are still more reveals about the Paragon and his sphinx cat; l9ved the trash griffin French Fry and hope to see more of him and his story.

Review: Not many books creep me out or scare me but this one did. I will not be swimming in water where I cant see the bottom any time soon. The atmospheric writing was so well done. I also liked the story told from the two different voices - one current day and one in the 1920s. The author knows how to draw you in so that you want to discover each secret and uncover the truth. Great writing. If you are looking for a really good ghost story, check this one out.

Review
This is another nice installment in the series. There are a lot of red herrings in the story, and some "lectures" about a person not being totaly good or bad, but it's entertaining, and we find again our loved cats. Perhaps it's not the stronger book in the series, but you finish it with a smile, although a bit sad in some aspects. I'll keep on reading the series for sure.

Review: I enjoy this series. I think this entry was a bit more like a tv episode rather than pivotal to overall series story arc. I haven't decided if the secrets the MC and love interest are keeping from each other (view spoiler) will prove amusing or get old quick.

Review
It's a delight, as usual, being back at Harmony, and Rainbow Island too. You have all the topics: strong heroine, strong hero who likes strong female, insta-love, cute dust-bunny who saves the day, evil villains... If you don't like these topicss, or you've read a previous one in this series and you haven't liked it... skip it. If you're in love with dust-bunnies and these stories are like a soft blanket in a cold day, go for it. You can guess my side... I only can say that I'm happy we have a new cute dust-bunny on June next year.

Review:I really enjoyed this gem. Alice is a MPI - Mage Private Investigator who has moved far away from her Grandfather's cabal. I like stories where supernatural live alongside humans. There are great side characters - Malcolm the ghost, Charles the vampire, Sean the werewolf. Alice accepts a job from Natalie who had inherited her grandmothers estate and she feels that other relatives are trying to kill her to get control of the estate. This story is heavy on magic and abilities. There is romance but is not the main focus of the story. This is urban fnatasy at its best.

Review: I have now wolfed through first four books of this series. Which says exactly how much I enjoyed. Great main character and interesting worldbuilding. More and more gets revealed as story progresses, original world and her situation. I've slowed after first four books because I'm leery that (view spoiler) .
