message 1677: by Mike (new)

Mike | 101 comments The last book I read was non-fiction. It was War and Resistance in the Philippines which is an area of interest for me. It is an in-depth study of both Filipino and American resistance to the Japanese occupation. It was written by James Kelly Morningstar. It filled in a lot of gaps. I rated it a 5.

message 1678: by Rosemary (new)

Rosemary Crosson | 11 comments The last book I read was The Probable Future by Alice Hoffman. The book was about three generations of women of the Sparrow family who upon their thirteenth birthday develop psychic abilities. I found it entertaining, and the writing style kept me moving forward. I gave it four stars.
