Why am I only now discovering this author and book? This question kept popping up in my mind as I read, impressed page after page by Blatty's mastery in creating original and realistic descriptions and comparisons (seriously, I reread some of the phrases two or three times); by his ability to paint vivid pictures with words; and by his deep exploration of the characters' psychology �� something I particularly love encountering in books. And last but not least, his skill in weaving profound knowledge into the plot, so that at no point do you doubt that it originates from the character rather than from the author's research... 5 star

It is an outstanding read. Poignant and beautifully written. Tragic, yet with a glimmer of hope. I gave it 5/5.

My second last read was The Honeymoon Affair by Sheila O�� Flanagan.

It was a good read with a decent plot that maintained my interest over its 400 plus pages. I gave it 4/5.

Tom Lake was so boring. I think 2 stars but not sure now. I could barely finish it.

The Story Of "St 25" - Adventure And Romance In The Secret Intelligence Service In Red Russia: Sir Paul Henry Dukes (1889-1967)
Non-Fiction: I doubt there is a better thriller written. This might be difficult to get hold of: Red Dusk and the Morrow, which I read, and gave 5 stars, before this is a slightly shorter account of this and easier to find.
Okay, I'm madly in love with the guy. If he was alive today I would be planning how to faint at his feet.

Here One Moment, Liane Moriarty. It was a brilliant read.
