Susan | 56 comments I have finished reading La Prisonnière du highlander Une romance historique de voyage dans le temps en Écosse (L’Appel du highlander t. 1) by Mariah Stone .La Prisonnière du highlander: Une romance historique de voyage dans le temps en ÉcosseThis is a time travel book about the seemingly impossible love between modern day Amy from Vermont and Craig, a highland chieftain from the 1300s.
Overall, I enjoyed it and liked the historical details and beautiful descriptions of the Scottish highlands and Vermont.

Susan | 56 comments I have finished reading The Pumpkin Spice Café (Dream Harbor, #1) by Laurie Gilmore The Pumpkin Spice Café.

Overall, I think that this book did deliver on a story about a cafe in autumn however I found it did not really hold my attention and I did not love it as much as I had hoped.

I have started reading The Return by Nicholas Sparks The Return. All good so far.

Hello Kristie,
I have noticed that here you posted your review, entitling it as 'my Lost Story review'. I have tried to work out how this is done on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ but totally failed. If possible, please could you explain to me how you did it.

Hi Susan - Sure! It is html code. You really need to do it online because you need to copy and paste the website link for your review. You type what is below replacing your information as noted.

When you are online you can click on "(some html is ok)" above the text box and copy/paste the code for "link" instead of typing it all out.

Changes: Below the first blue line, between the quotation marks, you want to change the https website. Just copy & paste from your review page. Then, above the second blue line where it says "my link text" you replace that with whatever you want it to say.

Just a note - This will only work with linking pages within Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ. In an effort to reduce scamming GR has put a filter on it that doesn't allow outside links anymore.

Hope that makes sense!

Kristine | 238 comments I finished When You Care: The Unexpected Magic of Caring for Others, Elissa Strauss, Excellent Feminist Book on the Importance on Care for Children, Disabled, and the Elderly.

I think I might finish Shelterwood Lisa Wingate Learning lots of Information. HF set in Oklahoma. Dual Time-Line and like the one set earlier in 1909. Like the Character, Olive the Best.

I just finished Looking for Jane, by Heather Marshall. Really thought the author did lots of research, especially since this was a debut novel.

Still, Reading Long Island, Colm Toibin. Got book and Audio from Libby, due soon, so we be sure to Read that one.

Shelterwood by Lisa Wingate , Lisa Wingate. Always find her books so emotional and touching since they expose neglect toward children that usually did not know about.
Husbands & Lovers by Beatriz Williams , Beatriz Williams. This was a Juicy Book, with Dual timeline from Egypt to Island off Long Island. Involves Adoption, Intrigue, Affairs, Love, Mystery, and First Love. Really liked this one.

The Housemaid's Secret (The Housemaid, #2) by Freida McFadden , by Freida McFadden. Milla is back and sure everyone read this one already. It’s a fast paced book that keeps you reading. Fun, to read this series

She was from Jamaica and her father became a Rastafarian. Women were considered inferior and had to be obedient. She endured much abuse at the hands of her father.
