Nick takes a trip to Richmond and stops at the state home for children where 12-year old Scotty Dunlap gives him a tour. Nick seems to seriously bond with the kid. What do you make of this? Have we see the last of Scotty?

I thought it was so cute that Nick and this kid really hit it off. We will definitely see more of Scotty.

I also liked the fact that Scotty was the child chosen to give Nick that tour. He was really a smart kid, and he will definitely show up in future stories.

This was so sweet. Nick identifies so much with this child and it is clear he would make an excellent father.

I knew we would see more of Scotty even before I read the next book.

I loved how they bonded! They had a lot in common and Scotty is a special young man.
