Elisabeth (Bets) (livingforjesus) Is she a clean author? I’ve seen quite a few historical fictions by her but I just wanted to make sure before I started reading any.

Sonja | 12 comments I picked up Alice Network, got a few pages in, and put it down. Seems the language is rough. It has been a while so double check that.

Elisabeth (Bets) (livingforjesus) Ok. What kind of language? I’m not as picky as I maybe should be when it comes to that. What I don’t really like is crude language and the f word. Other then that I’m not super picky.

Sonja | 12 comments Honestly, it has been a while, so I dont remember. Sorry.

Elisabeth (Bets) (livingforjesus) That’s completely fine 😊 Np

Jeni | StoryTimeReviews (storytimereviews) | 35 comments She’s not a clean author. The two books I started to read had explicit sex and language and I had to stop and not finish the book.

Elisabeth (Bets) (livingforjesus) Mmm bummer. That’s disappointing because her books looked interesting. Thanks for the info! I’m glad to know that before I actually got into one of her books and then read something.

Megan | 1 comments Not clean. I started reading one of her books and put it down due to sexual content.

Susie | 3 comments These comments were super helpful. I’m really tired of getting half way through a book and having to put it down because it goes into too much intimate detail for my liking. Language trends usually show up early in a book but often the characters have to be developed for a while before you get into sexy. Frustrates me severely when I am dying to see what happens and done gratuitous sex scene is thrown in that has so little bearing on the plot. Just hot “The Phoenix Crown on audio from my library. Cover should probably have been a slight warning but, thanks to you, I’m returning it prior to getting sucked in to what might be a great storyline.

Pebble Tedford | 3 comments Too bad cause she's a great writer. I just picked up her book “The Diamond Eye because it was free and I’d just finished a book, and we weren’t home. I’m about 1/2 way thru and haven’t run into either explicit sex or bad language (the F word). There is one sex scene but not detailed nor long. I really like the way she writes but probably won’t get anymore of her books after reading these reviews. When will these authors learn, you can have a best seller without the bad language and sex scenes!!!
