Sooo�. Does anyone have thoughts on the first few chapters of the hobbit? For my part, I really enjoy the descriptive imagery in ch. 1 😌

This is obviously not remotely necessary to enjoying the story, but if you are interested in how the stories developed in JRRT's own mind it is worth knowing about.

I knew there were a lot of revisions to The Hobbit, but idk if I'd heard of that specifically! I will have to look into that, it sounds very interesting.
