Cassandra | 5832 comments 3. Spring is a Season! Spring is one of the four conventional temperate seasons following winter and preceding summer. There are various technical definitions of spring, but local usage of the term varies according to local climate, cultures and customs. When it is spring in the Northern Hemisphere, it will be autumn in the Southern Hemisphere. Read a book that takes place in the Spring.

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #2 Impetuous Decision - Second Glance by Jodi Picoult. Loved this book! The twists and turns of the book kept me intrigued and guessing at what would happen next. Characters were believable and complex. My only criticism was I wish the ending had a bit more of a wrap to it, but otherwise, excellent book! 4.5 stars

Sharon (sharint) | 749 comments Brianna wrote: "Would Inferno qualify in the action genre? It is shelved a few times as such, but I know it is more associated with mystery or thriller."

Having read Inferno (Robert Langdon, #4) by Dan Brown I would say it qualifies as an action book. If they turn it into another movie I'm sure that's what it will be billed as - an action/adventure.

message 140: by Megan (new)

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #5 Steampunk - Prudence by Gail Carriger. I was rather disappointed with this book. I really enjoyed the parasol protectorate and had great hopes for this series. It just fell flat. I didn't really connect with the characters, and the cheekiness of the first series didn't really jive in this series. Might eventually pick up the 2nd book, but not going to run out and grab it. 2.5 stars

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #11 2015 book - At the Water's Edge by Sara Gruen. Overall, I really enjoyed this book! The characters were interesting, the plot got a bit twisted, and the love story very sweet. My main complaint was that the beginning was rough and took a bit for me to get interested in the story. About 1/3 of the way in, though, I was hooked. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars
