Jason Oliver | 2914 comments This is a perfect companion piece for Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America. Where Black AF History reads more like a history book, telling the history of black people in America, Stamped from the Beginning is more of a scholarly look into the raciest arguments during this same history.

Kendi breaks down three camps, Segregationists, Assimilationist, and Anti-Racists. He explores the arguments of each of these groups and the laws that were created as a result. He identifies Segregationists and Assimilationist ideas as racist ideas and show how anyone can hold racist ideas, and you can move in and out of these groups at different times in your life and for different arguments.
