We hope you are enjoying "The Unmaking of June Farrow" this has been an amazing time-travel adventure so far. June has some big decisions to make. She hasn't seen the "red door" return, but when she does, what will she do?
Chapter 18 June has made her way to the courthouse with the sheriff. People on the street stopped and stared at her. Caleb "Rutherford" took June to a room for questioning. The recorder was turned on. Caleb said her name at the beginning "June Stone" her married name.... He asked where she has been for the last 11 months. June said she was taking care of her mother. June said she had received a letter that her mother was ill and she left for Norfolk. He asked for the name of the hospital, June couldn't answer that. Caleb asked her about the night of the Midsummer Faire. June was starting to lose control of her thoughts. Someone named Mimi Granger claimed to have seen June running in her pasture, with blood on her dress.
Eamon came to the sheriff's office, confronting Caleb as to why he had brought June there. June and Eamon left the station. June started to cry. She told Eamon that Caleb thought she and Eamon had something to do with Nathaniel's murder. June wanted to leave town. Eamon did not think that was a good idea. If she left, it would prove to the police that June was guilty. She asked who Caleb Rutherford was. Eamon told her that Caleb was her brother...
Did June do the right thing by talking to Caleb? or did she get herself in deeper trouble? Caleb was trying to catch her in lies. Did he? Eamon came for her. He didn't want June to talk to the sheriff. Why? What else does he know about the night of the Faire? Caleb Rutherford...June's brother?
June's story is getting more complicated or are all the answers right there in front of us? It's a puzzle that is coming together. Everyone seems to have a puzzle piece. This is interesting, Caleb Rutherford is June's brother. He has a hatred towards June, but is it just about Nathaniel's murder or is it a family thing? Eamon and Caleb have an anger towards each other as well. Who is Eamon protecting here, is it only June and Annie?
