ÎâÂåêØ Ng (authorconnieng) | 4 comments How long haven't you been reading a book that grabs your heart? I am a published author with eight titles published in Chinese over the last ten years. My first English novel, "Paradise in Place of the Dungeon I Have Found You," has recently been released as a paperback and eBook on Amazon. It is a 40,000-word mystery novel exploring selfless love, concrete faith, mental disorders, secret society, undercover agents, adventurous missions, and controversial global affairs. It was written in a first-person narrative based on an actual storyline and brilliant creativity, with many twists and turns leading to an astonishing and heart-grabbing ending.

I've enclosed the link to Amazon and my personal website, your interest in my work and insightful review will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Brandon Pilcher | 10 comments I'd like to promote my latest release, a collection of historical "sword and sorcery" stories set in ancient Central Africa around the time of the Roman Empire

Nadjela of Batela: Adventures in the Ancient Congo

It is the first century AD, and the empire of Rome has grown into one of the largest in the history of the Mediterranean. Forged with cold sharp iron over the course of centuries, Roman authority now stretches as far afield as the floodplains of Egypt to the south, the sands of Judaea to the east, and the frigid woodlands of Gaul and Britannia to the north. Yet that is not enough for Rome. Their latest designs are on the equatorial heart of Africa, hoping to expand from there to conquer the whole continent and its innumerable riches¡riches enough to support a campaign of world conquest.

There is one person who stands in the way of these ambitions. She is Nadjela, the proud and fierce Crown Princess of Batela. Together with her trusty leopard companion Ishaga, Nadjela will come face to face with both local adversaries and the wrath of the Roman Empire over the course of four adventures. Will her courage and martial ability, and the blessing of her god Nyambe the Creator, be enough to defend all of Africa and the world beyond?

´³±ð²õ¨²²õ Reyes | 2 comments Hi everyone!

The English translation of the first of my books on historical curiosities, told with a bit of humor and sharpness, has just been released. It's available for free these days. Enjoy!

Great Historic Fiascos Minor and major historical disasters retold with a moderate degree of accuracy and just a touch of malice. by ´³±ð²õ¨²²õ Barranco Reyes

Great Historic Fiascos is a book of historical anecdotes. Written in a light-hearted, somewhat roguish tone, it offers the reader a critical retelling of a number of hand-picked events that took an unexpected and sometimes spectacular turn for the worse for some of those involved. Using an approach that ranges from jocular to black humoured, the events covered focus mainly on battles and span the period from classical antiquity to the First World War.

Great Historic Fiascos: Minor and major historical disasters retold with a moderate degree of accuracy and just a touch of malice.

Jessey Valentine (jesseyvalentine) | 1 comments My First novel is "Saving Via" and I am in the querying stage.
The Story
Sylvia is a scarred rape survivor, Army veteran, and recovering addict grappling with the weight of PTSD. Haunted by her past and struggling to stay afloat, she finds an unexpected lifeline in Trigger, a battered bait dog with a fierce heart. Their bond becomes a quiet sanctuary for two broken souls helping each other heal.

But when Trigger dies, Sylvia is thrust back into grief and isolation. She isn¡¯t ready for another companion until Lili, a skittish and traumatized rescue dog, enters her life. At first, Sylvia resists the connection, but everything changes when Lili performs a heroic act, saving a fellow veteran and his service dog from a raging fire. That single moment rekindles Sylvia¡¯s sense of purpose and reminds her that even in loss, there can be new beginnings.

As Sylvia opens her heart again, she finds herself surrounded by an unlikely circle of misfits: a gentle mortuary owner, a fierce but wounded homeless woman, and others who, like her, are carrying invisible scars. Through these connections, she begins to rebuild not just her life but a new kind of family

I just launched my website too:
Thanks for the platform to share.

message 14: by John (new)

John D. | 9 comments I asked ChatGPT to describe me as an author. Here is what it came up with:

About the Author

John D. Clay is the creator of The Shadows Series, a bold and unflinching dystopian saga where rebellion simmers beneath a tech-controlled world. Known for gritty storytelling, cinematic pacing, and characters who bleed truth, Clay writes with one foot in the future and one hand gripping reality. His work explores the collision between human resilience and synthetic power, drawing readers into a layered narrative where nothing¡ªand no one¡ªis what they seem.

When he's not crafting high-stakes plot twists or exposing the dark mechanics of propaganda, Clay is deep in the trenches of indie publishing¡ªtuning ad campaigns, designing trailers, and building a reader-powered movement from the ground up. He doesn't just write books. He builds worlds, fuels fandoms, and wages digital war against the algorithm.

Want a taste of rebellion? You're in the right place.
