It’s like, long. 500 pages long. Which isn’t too bad. Except that I saw some reviews saying this wasn’t a realistic historical book.

I hear ya. So many books so little time.😂

I read that one. Its good and I enjoyed it but the reason I gave it a lower rating is the ending. It's not a bad ending, I just personally didn't really like it.

Sooo true 😆

I hear ya. So many books so little time.😂"
Girl you have no idea.
I have probably 30-50 books in a box that I need to read to see if they're good since I got them cheap at a bookstore and have no clue how good they'll be. Plus i have between 5 and 10 series I want to reread this year (3 of them have 20+ books). And 5 or 10 new series I want to read. Plus a growing "want to read" here on GR. And I constantly see old favorites of mine and want to reread them. I'm swamped. lol

Goodness that is a lot!

*Sighs* I love reading but it can be overwhelming to love it so much. lol
This summer I'm gonna try to follow a reading plan of always be reading,
1 Non Fic
1 Reread (standalone or series)
1 New standalone/series
1 Random other book (Just for that random book I wanna read)
1 Proof read (That box of books I mentioned)
So we'll see how it goes but it should help me stay on track with reading.

The never ending cycle of not only finding new books but also constantly being reminded of and wanting to read old faves. Part of the problem with being a rereader. I could probably spend the rest of my life never reading new books (just rereading old faves) and be a very happy reader.

My bestie is currently writing an hour a day, 5 days a week. She's hoping to join the Author Conservatory this summer.

I would say two words

My bestie is currently writing an hour a day, 5 days a week. She's hoping to join the Author Conservatory this summer."
That's great! I've currently been trying to write at least 2 hours a day 5 days a week. That hasn't been going too well so far this week tho lol.

Yeah she just finished school for good, so now that that's behind her she's focusing on her writing a lot more. She's working on the second draft of her first book (Christian fiction) so far, and she just started writing a devotional as well.

I've been in that place before. I usually write every single day or at least review my writing. But I had a chunk of 18 months where I couldn't write a single word. At the time, I didn't know what was wrong with me and I felt awful all the time. I had ideas, but I just couldn't make my mind work on it. Later, I realized I was fighting a bad strep infection that had moved into my joints, I had a new baby, my dad was losing his ability to talk (and I knew I was losing him), and we had a new puppy. Looking back, I think I was just in need of a break and stressed out but at the time going through all of that, I didn't feel like was stressed. At the time, I felt fine except that I couldn't write.

Of course, my advice might not be worth much since I don't have much experience yet. Lol! :-)

Writing a book with your sister sounds both fun and annoying. 😂Two of my sisters had me start a book with them at the same time back when we were little. We didn't get farther than a chapter or two in either of the lol.
