I’m trying to find a book that I read back in high school. It was in between 2009 and 2011.
Fantasy book, back in medieval times,
The only thing that I can recall is a king from an old bloodline. He can go into his mind while in a battle and find his families tower. They are a lot of rooms and a lot of items in each room. Each item has a specific power for it, but over the years a lot of the items have been forgotten. A family member from the past appears in the tower and helps him regain the knowledge of the lost items and the powers that come with it. There’s only one window in the tower and it’s at the top. The family member asked him why he hasn’t looked through the window yet and that it’s a good thing he didn’t because if he did before he had all the knowledge of the other items in the other rooms, it would’ve killed him.
Please help me find this book. I can’t remember how it ends and it’s been bugging me. I need the nostalgia.
