That one's great, Affinity by Sarah Waters is pretty gothic in terms of atmosphere too. C. E. McGill's Our Hideous Progeny which is a reworking of elements of 'Frankenstein' is slightly in that vein but lighter and has a romance that gradually unfolds over the course of the story. Not strictly lesbian but definite queer elements in Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House centred on Theodora/Theo.
