And I got the special anniversary edition of the doll for my birthday. The one that has the original outfit and accessories. I actually bought the Kirsten with my own money. She was another one of my favs when I was little. I couldn't decide which one to get, but decided on Kirsten, because I knew I wouldn't be able to get her at all once they stopped selling the special editions. But my parents got me Smanatha, so it was all good. :) )

(You have one of the dolls?? I just have the main 6 book series of hers. But there’s no way I would spend that much on a doll 😬😂 and the world would have to flip upside down for my dad to buy a doll that was that expensive 😂 I would love to have one tho. I’m just not spending that much. I do have a nice doll with hair that I got for $8 at a thriftstore. She’s super pretty but not as nice as an American doll. I think she’s a madame Alexander doll, I don’t know that they’re anything special)
(I never had one as a kid, but I started collecting when I was about 17, I believe. I now have 8. First, I got Kirsten, then I got Samantha, Josefina, Addy, Felicity (she isn't even sold anymore, but luckily there was a new one on eBay that wasn't ridiculously priced. Well, more ridiculously than usual, lol), Molly, Kaya, and for my last birthday, I got the special birthday edition of Kit, which means she has her original outfit and accessories). They're all sitting on the top of my bookshelf. :) )

And yeah, I've only bought one with my own money, the others I requested as birthday and Christmas gifts)
