A quick question about whether or not an author's name needs to be changed and which folder I should post about it in if it does.

Helen R. Lane was an American translator who translated a lot of Spanish literature into English over her career. On the majority of the books she worked on, she is listed as Helen R. Lane, but on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ her author page is just Helen Lane. I believe that this means her name should be changed on the Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ page, but I'm not 100% sure so I wanted to confirm with librarians. And if this change does need to be made, can a normal librarian do it or will I need a superlibrarian or Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ staff member?

If it has the middle initial on the books, that is how the profile should read. If it's not a claimed profile, any librarian can do it.

Thanks for the clarification. Her name isn't listed as Helen R. Lane on every single book she's translated, but it is on the vast majority of them.

Moved out some books that don't appear to be hers and merged the page with the existing (but until now much smaller) page for Helen R. Lane.

Her name isn't on very many covers (not unusual for translators, unfortunately), but I did find some where she's listed as Helen R. Lane.

Yeah, when I was looking up books that she worked on to confirm what name she should be attributed as, more often than not I ended up having to pull up the Amazon pages for the books and look at the preview so I could get a look at the title and copyright pages.
