Hi! My name is Braelyn Wilson. I am a nineteen-year-old Indie author of two YA novels and have a supernatural romance series coming out this summer. I am trying to find groups/join groups with people who would be willing to give my books a chance! I write clean romances, primarily : )
My first novel, Counting Stars, is a take on a Shakespearian-like tragedy, where Brantley Thornton, the protagonist, is grieving the loss of her mother and finds comfort in her fascination with the stars. She struggles severely with depression. Caspian Marks, driven by a desire to learn and help others, meets Brantley and tries to save her, despite her belief that she is far beyond saving. As he tries to mend her soul, Brantley is torn between her desire to escape and return with her mom, and Caspian’s efforts to give her hope and love.
My second novel, Our American Honey, is a spin on a documentary and interview-styled. After years out of the limelight, former co-stars, Honey James McCarthy and Fourden Reeves, reunite, which sparks speculation about their past friendship and relationship. Honey’s award speech fuels many rumors, and interviewer, Iowa Marsh, dives into their history, aiming to uncover any drama or romance.
And lastly, the supernatural series (that is coming out this summer), starts after a tragic accident, which leaves sixteen-year-old Primrose Almasi-Rowland with amnesia. Her life takes a dramatic turn, and she is trying to navigate her reality, but secrets are emerging, old problems are resurfacing, and mysterious creatures threaten her hometown. Through the chaos, a mysterious man enters her life, bringing with him lies and challenges that force Primrose to confront her past and embrace her future.
