Clarification: for an author name with a suffix, what is the correct sort by format? Using the example from the Librarian Manual page for author names, "L.E. Modesitt Jr.", is the correct sort by name "Modesitt Jr., L.E." or "Modesitt, L.E., Jr."?

Hi, it is stated on the Help page just a little below the Modesitt example.



In your example case it would be
sort field: modesitt, l.e., jr. (all lowercase)
shelf display field: Modesitt Jr., L.E.
