Hi folks. Thought it might be a good idea to add a request topic to help people find the graphic novel that you want to read. If I see a request for a certain subject matter I will do my best to make a suggestion and everyone else is welcomed to add their own suggestions too. :)

Just remember to keep it civil and be respectful to each other and maybe we can all find something new to enjoy. :)

In regards to this month's theme I am curious about what Shoujo interests everyone has assuming it is an interest at all.

If you are interested what kind of Shoujo series are you looking forward to reading?

I discovered that Arisa is Shoujo so I am going to try that next. :)

I remember looking at Yakitate!! Japan in the past myself and like Food Wars I just never got a start on it. One I do want to try though the only similarity is it starts with a Y is Yotsubato! though it is a shounen rather then shoujo.

Alice in Borderland is pretty dark I hear. One of these days I want to try the live action version to check it out myself.

As for Arisa it has been a pretty wild ride with red herrings flying about. Looks like it is 12 volumes in total and it creates a good balance of dark atmosphere and high school drama without being depressing. As of this point you can borrow the first 10 volumes if you have a Comixology Unlimited account on Amazon but to finish the last two are available to buy.

I actually caught up pretty fast on Saga so now waiting for new ones :)
