Helen Purdon | 5 comments Has anyone read this lately? What is the nature of the abuse scenes (sexual and otherwise). My in-person book club just chose it to read, but I want to give a warning if there is graphic writing.

Another member posted she read it and indicated it wasn't squeaky clean, but she hasn't been active since 2022.

Mariya | 2 comments A coworker told me to read this book! He said it was one of the best books he's ever read. I didn't ask if it was clean, though.

Linda Martin (lindajm) | 27 comments I did like the book, quite a lot. There's some family violence but nothing I'd say was unclean. There's an unplanned pregnancy but the issue was covered in just one paragraph. I've always admired the author for managing to get the point across without giving us a lengthy description of everything that happened like some authors do.

Teresa Morehouse | 23 comments It's been a while, but I remember this book as being tremendous. It did not concentrate on depicting the tough topics that are exaggerated for dramatic effect by other authors. I recommend highly.
