Cheryl; Thanks again for hosting this year end challenge!

And then on to the Million Mile Challenge, The folder has been updated with the guidelines (unfortunately, the topic hasn't been locked, so it moves down when someone adds their post - you might have to dig a bit!).

Thank you Cheryl!! I am going to try to get the winter challenge started in January too, but no promises. Life is a little crazy right now.

If you're interested, there's the year long Million Mile Challenge that can be started at any time. I had a lot of fun with it in 2021 and hope to actually hit that million mile this time around.

Congratulations to all that completed it.
On to the Million Miles.

Hello, fellow Fictionistas! I’m Cheryl and I’m a readaholic. I’ve been a member of Historical Fictionistas since 2011 and have participated (and greatly enjoyed) many of the challenges over the years. Our Great and Powerful mOdZ have graciously allowed me to tip my toes into hosting some challenges. Rather than completely reinvent the wheel, I will be using past challenges as a jumping off point going forward.
To start off, we will have the Fall A to Z Challenge.
The challenge will run from September 1st to December 31st. Any books begun after September 1st can be counted.
This is a pretty simple challenge (just right for a new host!) - read from A to Z. You can do this three different ways - by title, by author last name or a by a combination of title and author. As an example, September's Group Read - Code Name Hélène by Ariel Lawhon - can be used for the letter C or the letter L, but not both.
Rules
1. All books must be begun after September 1st to count.
2. For this challenge, any genre or format may be used. Re-reads are also acceptable.
2. All books must be at least 200 pages according to the most popular edition on ŷ.
3. Articles such as a, as, the, an, do not count as part of the title for reporting purposes.
4. Reporting should occur on only one thread. Make your post and then edit it as you complete books. Multiple reporting threads for the same person will be deleted.
5. This is a self-reporting challenge. The goal is just to make it through the alphabet.
6. Have Fun!
