I picked first last time so I’ll wait to pick. I’m good with any of them (but portrait would be my last choice)

I can go with any of them. My first choice would be portrait on the cover and my least favorite choice would be hated character.

We are all so nice to each other, I love it. I can take any of them as well.

I just looked at a bunch of covers on my TBR list and I totally have us covered if we ever need archway on cover, but door? I found one that I don't feel like reading right now.

So, I am about to start a new-ish Tana French book and the new Nnedi Okorafor book, Death of the Author, so let me see if either of those have a stabbing or a hated character.
As soon as I get some more coffee in me, I will report back.

It looks like there is a stabbing in the French book, so I can take that one as a first choice, and hated character I can certainly find if someone else wants stabbing.

Gertrude Altridge haunts the Altridge Mansion Museum. She was the eldest daughter of Sir Aldridge. She stabbed all her father's servants while they slept one night. To avoid public humiliation, he locked her in the basement and fed her through a door slot. Years later, the mansion was sold and her spirit still resided in the basement. The new owner was spooked when hearing some strange noises so he had her remains removed and the basement sealed up. When you get to the mansion, the basement door opens on it own and Gertrude appears. Team member 1 tries to introduce the team and the apparition vomits on the member. What an introduction! Can your team catch her?

Your teams get a visitor who tells you they have seen a ghost in the Seward st subway station. They take you down there to show you where. Team member 2 smells electrical discharge and discovers a destroyed Hyper-Ionization Device on a panel to the side of the track. It looks like it exploded into pieces. Slime drips on team member 1. Team member 3 sees the ghost first, its eyes are glowing. Can your team catch the ghost and get back to the platform before the next train?
