In our Runner-Up poll we have one winner with two votes and a tie at one vote each between:
Japanese Novelists and Masters of the Fairy Tale.
Since all the other pairs are European, the Moderator's Choice and final pair will be Japanese Novelists, since one of our aims is Diversity.

Thanks for everyone's input!

Jen R. (rosetung) | 388 comments Looking like a very cool lineup for next year. I’m looking forward to a lot of these. Do you know yet what will be the first pair so I can figure out what books to acquire and where?

I'll set up the full schedule shortly, Jen, but we'll be starting the year with the Two Scandinavian Dramatists, Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg.
Their works should be easy to find.

Thanks for asking.

Thank you, also, for the explanation.

Anisha Inkspill (anishainkspill) | 258 comments I just found this thread, I was looking at Hedda Gabler a few days back and thinking about reading it (I know this may not be the one that is read, and that's fine, I have several of plays by Ibsen)

what a coincidence :)

Anisha, you can choose any plays by those two authors. Different members often read the same works, but it's not planned that way.
My favourite Ibsen play is A Doll's House.

I didn't realise, thanks!!! Rosemarie for pointing this out. I'll keep an eye out for the scedule and keep it in mind for next year.

Doll's House, I haven't read that in a few years, that's a wonderful play.

I have read A Doll's House twice. It's my favourite Ibsen play as well.
