I am interested in your book. It sounds like an amazing story. I am trying to get back into beta
reading, proofreading, and editing after a hiatus and this would be a wonderful start. I have
experience with a variety of genres and would love to find out if we are a good fit. I have worked
with authors on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, Amazon, and Upwork. I am excited to get started since I love to
read and review books. I look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best in your
book's success whether you choose me to work with or not.
Here are my Upwork reviews:
"Melinda delivered excellent work on this project and we enjoyed working with her. Her
communication was top-notch, she met all deadlines, and her skills were strong. She adapted
and learned whatever had to be learned. At one point we asked for an additional milestone, and
she was very forthcoming and happy to meet our new, changing requirements. She was
hands-on through the entire process. Her greatest strength has to do with seeing the tiny
details, some of which we did not see ourselves. On a personal note, I enjoyed working with her
and undoubtedly have additional jobs for her in the future. Don’t hesitate. Hire her!"
"I would work with Melinda again. Her prompt communication, adherence to deadlines, and
cooperation was much appreciated, and mark her as a true professional. She's very skilled at
what she does, and I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!"
"Great work! Will definitely rehire for future projects requiring reviews."
"Amazing job! Would definitely recommend her!"
"Excellent job

Looking forward to hearing from you.

It sounds like a copy edit may be what you're looking for, which focuses on grammar and punctuation, with perhaps a touch of line editing for any areas where wording might confuse the reader.
I can offer two full passes for $0.0045 per word, which would come to about $837.
If you'd like a sample edit of the first few pages, or would like to know more, feel free to email me at brookedelira @ gmail.com
I am currently on the eighth draft of my debut novel An Assassin's Tale, and am looking around for an editor to proofread and make sure everything makes sense grammar and wording-wise. I'm not too restricted on my budget, and understand that with a story as long as mine, the price may be a little higher than average, but also understand if it's too long of a project to take on. I'm just hoping to find someone to professionally edit who'd be interested in my dystopian sci-fi novel about aliens in the distant future.
This is my story's 'back of book blurb' if you would:
For centuries my people had blindly followed the will of Lady Luck, a strict dogma enforced by the Emperor himself, and all those who came before. After the AI that chooses our fates, based on Her wishes alone, assigned me the role of assassin, no amount of foretold Luck could have prepared me for what I was to endure. I never wanted anything to do with the intergalactic war the Kelmit Empire brought upon the universe, but thanks to Her own will, myself and five others found ourselves directly in its shadow. After conjoining fates with an unlikely ally, and my curiosity that always got the best of me, I later uncovered the brainwashed truth our beloved Empire had fed into its people. Now all I can think of is Luck be with me as I blindly fake what time I have left into my ‘beloved Empire believing I still have faith in their cause. I only have to make it 120 cycles
Surely nothing will go wrong
Thank you to all who read this through, and let me know if you're interested!
