Well, well, well.

You know why you're here, don't you?? You have all of these series that you have started and have yet to complete. Harry Bosch?? Kinsey Milhone?? Dresden, even!?? You will complete a book you hate; but not a series you love?? The shame!! Egads.

Well, this is the place to list them all!! This is a judgement-free zone (except for my initial statement). Our great book-friend Lillie has made the bestest suggestion ever, so shower her with love when you get the chance.

There are no specific rules, except to list out your series and complete them.
There is NO TIME LIMIT
There is NO START DATE

I do ask that you give an overall rating at the completion of a series, and offer a RECOMMEND or DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Create a topic here, just like for the ATW , States or 12+4 challenge.

Also; you do not need to list the books you have read in the series, unless you prefer to do so. I started each series with the next book to read.

Ex: Book 17 in the Dresden Files, and kept listing from there.

I only finished mystery! Aack! Though I think that's my longest list, I still have sci-fi and fantasy to do.

I like the idea of personal use? Though I do enjoy getting feedback. As usual, I'm wishy washy, lol. Will do whatever you think is best.

I will have to think about this one, I start a lot of Cozy mystery series for different challenges or it just catches my eye and I am not one that just moves onto the next book right away unless I am just engrossed in the story so ya....😭😂😂😂 I am actually curious though albeit scared to see how many series I have racked up😂.
So would we need to include every book in the series (that we haven't read yet) to the lists? Like the Sue Grafton alphabet series?

I've done mine alphabetically and have set up pages. Just have to fill them in now. I don't mind comments.

I did end up putting the books in the series but instead of listing (which would make my overall lists super long), I put in the book covers next to each other. I’m not sure if that was the best way but it made sense to me at that moment, lol

You can probably close your comments by hitting the "edit" button next to topic. Once you have finished all the lists; then, open it again. I think. I am going to try it.

I only added 10 at a time for the long series; like Harry Bosch. I think the number is in the high 30s or low 40s for that series. Ugh!

I like this idea even though I don’t read a lot of series. I’m certainly not a completist when it comes to mystery & thriller series. But, I do have some other series that I’m interested in reading, one of which is the Kingsbridge series. I’m only listing the first one, The Pillars of the Earth, though to start with. I’m hoping to finally read it in 2025!

This is a great challenge! I've got so many series on my TBR - pile. Not only series that I own, but need to get from the library or the bookshop. Maybe this will be the needed kick in the b**t to finish some.

There is no time limit, so don't put pressure on yourself. ��

For me; this will help with my 12+4. I think by adding at least a few, I can get some stuff done.

I've opened a can of worms when I realise how many series I have started and how many books have to be read in each one!

Hahahaha I did and it’s worse than my paperbacks (which I’ve not finished updating)

Some of my kindle series are shorter than others but I need to knock them out first I think

How did I forget The Murderbot Diaries?! Thanks to several people for the reminder. I read the first 2 books in the series this year. I may also consider adding Ken Liu’s The Dandelion Dynasty Quartet.

I looked at my list and it looks like it is disorganized, but it really is not. I kept wondering if I should organize by genre, and it just didn't flow for me. So, instead I organized by importance.

The ones listed, in the first thread; especially; I am way behind in. Waaayyy behind.

I will start a list soon. Seems like I only read series anymore �� if I read at all. Anyway it’s a good goal.

I've been doing series reads for my 12 &4 challenge the past couple of years and have barely made a dent. I know I'm going to do it again next year & have been working on that list. However, since I have far more than 16 series to consider, I will definitely be making a list (with some overlap) to put here. I think seeing in print some of the series in that I keep forgetting about will help to at least keep reading those I'm enjoying.

It is a bit dangerous looking at others' lists, but I appreciate some of the reminders. Plus, I like looking at how others do their organizing.

Curious are we saying. I time limit as in beyond 2025 or is this within the year?

No time limit period. If you want to self-impose a time limit, that is up to you.

This is really just a place to list all the series you have going, so that you can track your "spending"... LOL

I had much more than I thought. I even left off about 5 that I just can't bear to continue. So, all in all; I feel very good about listing this out and being able to focus.

I think having parts of 1 or 2 series on my 12+4, will keep me ahead of the game. Also, only listing out 2-3 on my individual challenge, so that I stay focused.
