Randomized Reading Lists

I would like a standard list, please, even though I never seem to do very good with these randomized lists. Maybe this year will be the year!

So that being said, I'm going to request a French list :)
We might have to wait a bit more for all the lists to be created. Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ seems to have some technical issues at the moment, it does not allow me to create/save new topics, asking me to "Please try again later."

Shall do. I take care of the folder (will appear shortly).

There are some minor changes this year, but in essence, the rules are the same.
Basics
You can request for a randomised reading list, containing five (5) List books selected randomly. A "standard" list will contain four (4) "normal" books and one (1) Wish List book. However, you can specify a larger number of Wish List books if you prefer (e.g. 3 WL books + 2 "normal"). You cannot request five (5) "normal" books.
Wish List books
In the past, a book qualified for the Wish List if it did not have a single review posted in our 1001 book reviews section. Over the past couple of years, the number of Wish List books has significantly diminished, thanks especially to Amanda Dawn. Consequently, we have decided to expand the definition of a Wish List book to any book that has received at most one (1) review. Currently, 168 books meet this criteria; this means that there will be a wider variety of these Wish List books available under this challenge. I have updated the Wish List bookshelf to reflect the changes. Please note that as soon as any of these books has two or more reviews, it will no longer be a Wish List book.
Scoring
In order to maintain the participation level for this challenge, here is the point structure for reading a book from the randomised list:
- Reading and reviewing a "normal" book: 2 points
- Reading and reviewing a 'Wish List" book: 4 points
- Reading and reviewing your first book: 3 bonus points (so, if your first book is "normal", that's a total of 5 points; for a "Wish List" book, that's a total of 7 points)
When you finish reading and reviewing a book, you can ask for a new book to be put on your list. A "normal" will replace a "normal" book; a "Wish List" book will replace a "Wish List" book. To earn the points, you must post a link to your review when asking for a new book.
Free Swaps
You can swap a book you have already read and reviewed for the group by add a link to your review in your request for a swap.
You can also swap a book that is not available in a language you can read.
If a book on your list becomes a group read during the year, you can also swap it.
Lists in another languages
Last year, we had the possibility to request lists which included books listed in editions of the 1001 List book in other languages. However, with the sudden departure of BookWorm, we did not manage to retrieve these other lists from her. If you have access to any of these other language lists, please let me know. We could try to restore the "other language" list requests.
Please put in your requests for a randomised list below. I will generate and post them in this folder on January 1st (or after, if I get your request later).
