Hey Lexi! I'll try and answer a few and anyone else can jump on and correct me if I'm wrong.

What we set is just a guess so you can read more or less. In the first message there is a link to our team spreadsheet. You can put your books on the banked tab if we don't use them for any of the words that we found for the strand. There are already a couple of us that have banked books, so just follow that.

If you use a book that goes for a word in the strand, you would put your book on the tab labeled S1 etc. (I believe it will be S2 for the next strand once we finish this strand). You also would put your stuff on the review page. There is also a link to that in the first message. There is a template of what we need in msg 1 as well.

I believe we will get new strands once we complete the current one.

I normally use ŷ������ on my phone. That's why I haven't seen anything except a part of the picture😂

@Lexi - You'll have to write a review for the book to count. I believe that status updates will work as well if you do those instead of reviews.

I’ve got all 7 words of todays Strands

Do I post them here when I have them or does everyone puzzle for themselves?

We all do them as a team, so I think we have all the books we need for this strand. You can put your books in the banked tab and we can possibly use them for the next set of words.

Whatever is in banked can be used for page points at the end if we don’t use all the banked books.

Since the strands game renews everyday, our "words" do aswell or not? If so I have the words of todays puzzle (the theme "literary couples") and could post them here but I wasn't sure if I should. That was more my question.

@Lexi I don’t think we follow the NYT daily strands, but the strands that Alaina provides for us

also, i spotted an issue but not sure if it’s just me, in the ‘Strands�� tab Alaina says that the bolded answers are correct. But she didn’t bold HISTORICAL, does that mean we didn’t get that? Then again, that doesn’t really make sense because if we got everything else that can be the only correct answer.. 🤔

@esther - I think that's because we haven't done the review yet. Once that's done, I think it will be.

@Lexi - I went back to the rules and it says that: Each team will be given the same Strands to start off with and then receive different ones after finishing.

So once we finish this set of words, we will get a new set.

We got our second strand. I suck at finding these words, lol, so whoever is better at this can give it a shot. :)

The only thing that I found that was different was the word Pink

Just started a book about Cinderella. Think I’ll be done tomorrow.
Then we’ll have “Cinderella�� as well:)

I took 2, I'd finished 2 books earlier today

working on another but I haven't run words yet to see what it would work for.

if anyone has time to check what we have in the bank, we might be able to have this set done but if no one has time, no worries!

My next book contains slipper.
I think I'm done with both books tomorow.
Except you can find one of those words somewhere else I'd put them in the speadsheet tomorrow I think.

By the way: I'm surprised of how much I'm reading in the past days😂 Haven't spend that much time into reading for a long time

Sounds great! The challenges will do that to you haha. Participating in this group definitely upped my reading this past year.

Also, check out the buddy reads if you haven't already. There may be someone already or interested in reading the same book as you. It's fun to read books with others and it gets you some extra points.

I just read a book with slippers so this one is done.
