That's always a tough question! So many good ones this year!

If I had to pick only one... It would be this: The Will of the Many

I read 106 books in 2024.

Good Question. I am not even sure which books were this year and which the year before. I think I will go with the Epic of Gilgamesh. I found it fascinating for reasons that speaks across the ages. Not really for its engaging characters and elegant prose.

That, and of course my own book ;)

Chimeras of Estmer
I suppose I could say that The Navigator's Children is my favourite book of the year (even though the author mercilessly killed off one of my favourite characters), but it's the fourth book in a series I started reading much earlier, so it hardly counts. So my choice is still Chimeras.
