One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig (unique magic system, gothic mystery, duology) *No. 1 recommendation

A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle Jensen (Norse mythology, female rage, incomplete series)

The Prison Healer by Lynette Noni (romantasy with high stakes survival game but a dash of romance, strong female lead, complete series)

The Spellshop by Sarah B. Durst (cozy cottage core romantasy but not much plot, you will like it if you enjoy cozy gaming)

Night of the Witch by Sara Raasch (based in the German Black forest during the witch craze, witch hunts & rescue missions)

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett (light romantasy trilogy with academia vibes, YA)

7. Married to Magic series by Elisa Kova (5 standalones with unique magical systems, HIGH fantasy but also high emotions, spec. recommend #1, 2, 5)
