Can you guys recommend books that made you cry? And not like, tearing up cry, but like SOBBING ON THE FLOOR level of crying. Been wanting to read a sad book for ages but nothing seems sad enough for me lol.

Blood over broken heaven made me cry recently. Empire of the Damned made me sob�� but you have to read Empire of the Vampire first to understand what is happening.

The only book that has made me cry this year, and like actually sob for a solid hour while I was reading the last 60 pages or so was "The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy". I can't promise it will make you cry and I'm gonna be fr I thought it was a very average book up till the last pages hit. Up till that point I thought the book was a 3 star read at best.

The Flesh and Fire series by Jennifer Armentrout.... Never have I cried so much reading a series. Both sad and happy tears lol

I cried most of ACOMAF/ACOWAR and Nightbane, not exactly sad books, but I cried like a baby.

I also cried a lot while reading A Journey to Us by Lady B.

I remember reading The Notebook and The Last Song as a teenager and feeling absolutely devastated.

To me was Powerful by Lauren Roberts and i was at the beach when reading that book and i sobbed. Even my parents asked me if i was okay cause the book was so tragic

Dreamland by Sarah Dessen!!!!!!! I cried so hard in the end :(

Under Your Scars by Ariel N Anderson. Took me minimum 20 mins to calm the crying and then cried days afterwards because I couldn't stop thinking about the book. It has trigger warnings so please check those.

I'm currently reading Life of Pi and I have cried multiple times. If you don't want a nonfiction, a fiction that makes me cry every time is Finding Noel and Grace and lastly The Gift

The invisible life of Addie LaRue, made me cry more than I have in years. (Spoiler: I honestly didn't expect it, thought it would be a happy ending)
