I will focus on readability, the overarching theme or general takeaway, the narrative voice and tone of the book, and all the other important elements that make any non-fiction work shine.

Hi Adam,
I'm an editor, but I also own a beta reading services company. My company is registered in NY, and all of my readers are based in the US. I personally vet my readers. They have all passed all assessments, and they have all signed confidentiality agreements. I match each manuscript to a reader who best represents the author's target audience. So, my memoir readers regularly read memoirs, and they understand how to provide helpful and relevant feedback for the genre.
Authors can order directly online or via email. My email address is [email protected]. I'll link to a few pages below, but feel free to click around the website if you'd like to learn more about my company.

The MS covers 11 years working for 16 tech startups and combines my personal journey with a behind-the-scenes look at tech startups.
Experience reading non-fiction and business memoirs are a bonus. Thanks!
From my query letter:
On the very day Obama was sworn in as President, I boarded a plane with my wife and children and left Canada forever—and descended into a decade of instability, discovery, and perseverance in Israel’s frenetic startup sector.
Set against an evolving tech landscape, Lost & Unemployed: A Memoir in 16 Startups (120,453 words) is a contemplation of ambition and self-preservation when markets, people, and relationships seem chaotic—and nonetheless aligned against you.
From social media to cybersecurity, past digital scams and abusive managers, tech trends intertwine with colorful vignettes of people as the author grapples with the lasting conflicts of reconciling his perceived value with his received fortune, and discerning the line where the needs of his family end, and his own needs begin.
Over eleven years, the memoir peers into the back offices of no less than sixteen startups, each chapter beginning and ending with a job worked, and containing its own eclectic cast of founders, CEOs, VPs, and managers.
Principally a personal story, the author’s frame of reference is the managers and businesses he encounters, their struggle revealing the enterprise as a deeply human affair, its glory an expression of man’s basic instinct to mean something. As the author’s early self-doubt gives way to experience and sympathy, a sometimes-poignant truth is revealed: no one wants to be nothing.
