anyone who's read the chronicles of narnia - do you recommend i begin with the magicians nephew or lion witch and wardrobe? i gave magicians newphew a go about 15 years ago but was perhaps too young too appreciate it. was starting off with that book a mistake or should i give it another go now that im older? appreciate the rec - cheers!

Based on your question, I’m assuming what you’re asking is, “should I read the stories in chronological order or the order that they were published,�� right? In my opinion chronologically is best - beginning with “The Magician’s Nephew�� - because you get to see the creation and beginnings of Narnia. No, it’s not as fun as “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe,�� but it’s necessary, and is probably why C.S. Lewis added it later. I re-read it not too-long ago, actually. Now you’ve gotten me thinking about reading the rest 😂 (minus LWW, I’ve read that too many times). Perhaps this summer��
