Hello fellow readers-

Creating this thread for our twentieth overall book but our fourth book of round 5.

Please share your final ranking and thoughts below

Alicia Jones | 31 comments Fav character: Dylan for being unapologetically himself. He cared for animals and Nora with his whole wholesome lil heart. He understood the ending of the book’s lesson, happy where he was at in life without needing anything fancy.

Least fav character: Ravi for being a bitter asshole who lied about her brother resenting Nora. He’s obviously a terrible friend if he let Joe go off the deep end and OD in Rockstar Life. Special shout out to Nora’s dad for being a selfish, cheating asshole.

Rating: 8.6 I enjoyed the journey of this book. I liked the cheesy lessons throughout guiding her to ultimately appreciating where you are in life and how you got there even if things aren’t “perfect. The imagery, like the book of regrets and the multiverse as a library or video rental store, was fun to imagine. Once the book of regrets was introduced, it was easy to see where each My Life book would take Nora but it was hard to put down nonetheless. The ending was inevitable and not a surprise but it’s always nice to be reminded to be grateful.

My Mrs Elm: Alex
Library setting: Library

Favorite Character - Mrs. Elm: Love that this woman comforted her at such a low point when Nora is at a point between life and death she is the one who navigates her through this pain.

Least Favorite Character - Nora's Dad: Between pitting his kids against each other, making them earn his love and attention, the cheating, and many other bad choices he leads both of his kids to live their lives in constant regret and sadness.

Rating - 7.5/10 - A fun story with a good take away. At times the characters feel too minor and some of the lives get repetitive and redundant. Makes me want to ensure I don't let regret control me and live the life I'm currently in with the potential to do anything I set my mind to in the future.
