All right so have a few questions about the book. I just finished it and I honestly really liked it, like yes it was sad and all but I actually really liked it as an ending for the powerless trilogy, but I do have a few questions and I hope some people can like answer it for me. Warning, these questions involve spoilers so if you didn't see the series don't read this.
So the first question is at the end of the book, at the 5 years later chapter, Kai mentions that he can sense their daughter and where she is which obviously means he can sense her powers but does the book ever mention what powers she has or is it like a mystery for us.
The next question I have is that when Payden mentions that she can see Blair's ghost. Is it like an illusion in her head or can she actually see the ghosts or something....?

Also can I just state that kits epilogue is very confusing like I get what the whole main idea for that chapter is but I feel like it's really really confusing and kind of sad because like he's dead and then he has a point of view.....

Also I really wish we had more of a point of view of what happened to the Kingdom after Kai took over because we know that he was going to keep going with kitts plans and Payden does say that it's better but I wish that we got like a more view of that even though I really do the love their chapter with Kit who is very adorable by the way in two pages she has.

I don’t think it ever mentions what kits power is I think we might find out in the novella because I’m assuming it’s about her but idk

I thought you were talking about Kitt like Kai's brother not their daughter and I was confused for a second, I was like it literally tells us in the first book that he's a Dual 😂

I tried to just keep writing "daughter" but I got tired and wrote her name

To answer the Blair question : she's alive, she's not a ghost. She and Paedyn have a visual exchange, nodding in recognition but keeping their distance. Not really something you do with a ghost.

Plus, remember : Leeny had a weird reaction when he talked about her with Paedyn after Blair's “death��. I've seen several people mention the fact that they probably developed a relationship when he was in charge of protecting her from Paedyn.

I think there's a possibility that one of the next novellas will focus on Blair (and maybe Lenny).

But I don't see how that could work? Why was she standing in the middle of a cornfield stalking them? In another territory, nation, whatever you wanna call it. That wouldn't make any sense. You're telling me bro was just standing there WATCHING THEM IN THE MIDDLE OF A CORNFIELD???? I don't mean to offend it just sounds like smth out of a horror movie lol

Yeah no it never said what her abilities are soooooooooo I'm assuming she just doesn't have any or maybe Lauren is keeping it secret? Who knows :p

it is in the middle of another "nation" but in a place like the slums so there are also other people. if she actually is alive i think she might have moved there or something?! I dont know!

I don't remember reading that it was in the middle of a cornfield actually. For me it happens afterwards, when they're in town, in the middle of the market or, as Omayma said, at least in what they consider to be the slums of another town. So it makes sense.

But if they were in another town as you say, why was she there? Wouldn’t she still be living in the palace? It doesn’t make sense to me but idk

She faked her death and left the palace to start a new life elsewhere. Paedyn made peace with Adena's death so didn't need to pursue her when she ran into her again with Kai and their daughter so they just “ackowledged�� each other after being surprised to run into one another outside of Ilya.
