Hi guys!
Carol here! This month we will be reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. So...

Schedule
Week 1: Chapters 1-14 (pages 1-103)
Week 2: Chapters 14-28 (pages 104-210)
Week 3: Chapters 28-40 (pages 211- 301)
Week 4: Chapters 40-end (pages 302-end)

Summary
In a land without magic, where the king rules with an iron hand, an assassin is summoned to the castle. She comes not to kill the king, but to win her freedom. If she defeats twenty-three killers, thieves, and warriors in a competition, she is released from prison to serve as the king's champion. Her name is Celaena Sardothien.

The Crown Prince will provoke her. The Captain of the Guard will protect her. But something evil dwells in the castle of glass--and it's there to kill. When her competitors start dying one by one, Celaena's fight for freedom becomes a fight for survival, and a desperate quest to root out the evil before it destroys her world.

So am I! Did you by any chance read the prequel??

Kayla (demision) I seen that there were a few e novella editions before this one, but I didnt really know what they were haha and reading this book, I feel extremely curious about her assassin life and what that was all about, so if I end up still loving this book, the prequel is a definite read ^^

I was advised to read it first and it just made this book so much better. I just finished it, brilliant!! I'd advise reading The Assassin's Blade when you're done!

Kayla (demision) I definitely will ^^ thanks

Hi guys,
So we should be half way through the book by now. thoughts??
Now if you were like me you couldn't put it down and you've finished it already and can't remember exactly what was happening about half way in and I don't want to spoil it for anyone so....
What do we think so far??
How are we liking the fantasy world with no magic?? This was new for me and I really liked it. I really love how Celeana needs to be physically strong and agile to stay ahead of events.
