It's time to mark your calendars for our next quarterly read-a-thon! It will take place Friday June 5th at 12.01am and continue until Sunday June 7th at 11.59pm in your local time zone - 3 full days :) (This will coincide with the beginning of the Winter Challenge)

Our goal will be a total of 18,000 pages read by all who participate. If we exceed that total, we will possibly increase it for our next quarterly read-a-thon.

Please post your interest here in this thread up until we begin the challenge - when the weekend is over the page number read will be tallied:)

If possible, check in at least once a day, more often if you want. Our cut off time for you to add your final totals will be 12noon Monday 8th AEST:)

Of course Brenda but it won't be very much! My hubby likes to keep busy when we go away so there won't be much reading time but I can always add in what little I get done.

It is the Queen's Birthday long weekend in Victoria, and I'll be away at the time. However, I can't imagine not doing some reading during that time, so I'm in - just don't expect a huge total from me.

What'd we read last time?

Gotta start my week-long reading fitness regimen to get prepped for this.

18,177 last time Liam:) But we need a lot more people to register for this one at the moment!

Hey Brenda, 18,000 pages last time is really impressive, but I'm interested to know how that averaged out per participant. I know that it doesn't matter if you can only contribute a bit, but some of the readers who read 800+ pages were impressive, and just curious how it all averages out in the end.

Going off the people who gave page amounts last time (34 people) it was about 530~ pages per person on average.

34 people participated last quarter Tracey - so that works out at an average of 534.62 pages each:)
