If you visit the following webpage Authors We Read This Spring you will find a list of authors that were mentioned in the completed task posts for the spring challenge (only linked authors are included in this list). Find an author on this list that you haven't read previously and read their most popular book. (The author's most popular work is the one listed first on their profile).

If you need suggestions OR have suggestions for books to read for this task post them here.

The Master and Margarita - Bulgakov
Set This House in Order: A Romance of Souls - Matt Ruff
Disgrace - Coetzee

Terri (terrisa-uk) | 222 comments The Bell Jar! I'm using that one for the re-read task. I read it as a teenager and LOVED it.

I really liked all three of those books.

I would recommend these three, in this order.

Liz I'm trying to decide between:
Poison Study
Dead Until Dark

I first read Poison Study for the spring challenge, and really enjoyed her (in fact, I managed to work 4 more Snyder books into the challenge as well!) I also have enjoyed all of the Sookie Stackhouse books. So, for me, either choice seems good!
One thing I've been doing, when I'm thinking about reading a book with sequels for one of the tasks, is to check the "second longest" for that author - I've found a couple where the next book in the series is the second longest by that author, so I figure if I enjoy the first, that gives me a slot for the next in the series.

Elliott Can someone tell me if there are any YA Authors on this list? I'm sure there are a bunch, but I can't tell from the names.

I'm not familiar with YA authors, but I've learned that Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ has a pretty good search engine. If you put YA authors into the search field upper right of your screen, a list of books will come up with their authors. You can make a note of them, then look for them on the list.

Perhaps someone else has some ideas for you.

Michelle Zink

Thank you so much! You've given me three great choices, two that were actually on my to- read list already!
