We are half way through 2010 already!!!

How has your reading gone for the first half of the year? Have you managed to read all you wanted to and what are your favourites?

For those of you who are doing the 2010 year pages count, are you close to what you thought you would be or are you now revising your goal (if you have one!) up/down??

I have been doing pretty good with my reading but I seem to be in a "re-read" slump... I have read books that are newer and on my TBR list but not the ones that I'm supposed to be reading for my challenges..lol

I just started this month, and I am already amazed that I have read over 5000 pages.

So far I think I am doing ok, I am more than half way to my goal but I'm not going to revise it just yet.
With hectic schedule I am amazed at just how much I have done

See that's why I didn't create a goal for myself, because I know that my life can get hectic, and I hate not getting to a goal...this time it's just for fun to see how much I actually read from the next 6 months.

That's the same with me... I just wanted to see how much I read.. I didn't start in January either.. Just keeping track so I can see how much I read.. To explain to my therapist why I have no time fir a social life...lol... Books are better than people.. You can yell at them and they don't talk back.. They are good listners... When you want, they can make you laugh, and cry, jump for joy, or scream in fury.. They can take you away from whatever might be happening and toss you into another world... I love books.. And they have given me so much

OH and you forgot they can break your heart but you'll be fine the next day....and or they won't break your heart at all. Sometimes better than a boyfriend. And yeah I just started in June, so I'm sure if I would have started at the beginning of the year I could my numbers would be much higher. BUT OH WELL! LOL!

Hey a good book makes a better companion on some days, especially when you are fighting with the boyfriend. LOL!

I'm really happy that's I've read as many pages as i have! I've read 11,675 pages which has surprised me as I thought I'd only read 10,000 pages in the year when I first started! I soon revised this to 20,000 pages, I think I might give 25,000 pages a shot by the end of the year. Means I've got 13,325 pages to read by the end of the year.

I think I will make my goal.

I didn't set myself a set number of pages to read this year, was just interested to see how they would add up. As of today I have read 33,025 pages ! ! I can't believe it.

I've only started in June, but I just hit 8000+ today! Considering I've moved, got a puppy and started a new job this month, I think thats pretty good! I didn't set a goal, but I love watching the number add up. My husband is so annoyed cause every week I'm like "OOh guess how much I read?!" Haha, now he just says a billion pages every time.

As of today, I'm at 31,111!!!
