1. Time of Day: Whenever I get home from work!
2. Food: Lamb Roghan Josh with a little Naan bread.
3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic): Cocktails. Preferably served in a coconut or pineapple shell and covered with fruit, flowers and umbrellas. Pretty and potent!
4. Band/singer: Lots. Currently listening to John Butler Trio.
5. Actor: Used to be Mel Gibson from his Mad Max, Lethal Weapon days but he's having the most embarrassing mid-life crisis in history! Now it's Russell Crowe. Loved him in Beautiful Mind, The Sum of Us, Gladiator and that one with the French actress.
6. Spot in Australia: The lighthouse at Byron Bay looking out over the ocean. (most easterly point in Australia)
7. Team/sport: Synchronised swimming?! (although lots of people argue that’s not a sport!!)
8. Car: Mercedes convertible (yellow)
9. Animal: Dog
10. Activity: Trying on expensive French perfumes in DJ’s, crochet, long drives, making lists and playing on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ of course! ;)

5. Actor: I agree Mandy, what's happened to Mel is so sad; its like we're just watching an accident happen in slow motion. I like Mark Harmon's smirk (NCIS)
6. Spot in Australia: Anywhere away from the rat race or just off my balcony looking at the bush and the birds

Murray you have some very intriguing answers. I'm a real traveller too although I might not have tried the 'Bhutanese whiskey'!! Here is a link to the late and great Lhasa de Sela's very groovy laid back music (definitely worth listening to):

Aren't they gorgeous!?! Thanks for pulling up a photo. I grew up in the bush at Port Stephen's (2 hour drive north of Sydney) we used to see them occasionally.

It is amazing how much better food tastes when you don't have to cook it yourself. (Every day)

I'd have been interested to see what people put down for favourite collection. Mine is 'cultural anecdotes', which I guess I could have put under Activity.

Gail ... I used to like cooking, but after cooking/feeding 7 people three times a day plus snacks, all of whom like/dislike different things, cooking/meal preparation (especially school lunches) is a chore.

I used to love cooking too. Cooking every day to fusspots drives you mental. Fortunately my husband went through a bit of a mid-life crisis and has now taken on the cooking role. I get to cook just for dinner parties & the occasional meal here and there. There has been far fewer complaints all round. I have started to enjoy cooking again. :)

I am jealous, wonder if I can get my other half to do the same ... doubt it.

There is the down side. I have had to go back to work full time.

Marion Cotillard - who later got an oscar for La Vie En Rose. The movie with Russell was a lightweight romantic comedy called A Good Year. That's a brilliant idea about the collections. People collect the most amazing things. I'm going to add it to the list. :)

You cant win ... I work three days a week which is enough .... I could not cope with full time at the moment , as it would probably still include the cooking.

Mmmm!!!..collections eh!!..prob show my age a bit here, I have almost all my vinyl records I bought in my teens, including Elvis's Suspicious minds on the RCA label before he went to Decca & the beatles 'Hello, goodbye' & 'I am a Walrus' on the 'London' label before they went 'Apple', the very 1st vinyl single I bought was 'Take a giant step' by the Monkees LOL!!!

I also have a couple of hundred 'hat pins' from where I have been in my 25 years on the highway.

Dee-Ann, I hadn't heard of this singer before. I checked her out and she's great. The song Possibility was my favourite:

Bernadette, I love Paul Kelly and the Whitlams too. I don't generally like to list favourite as it depends on a lot of things, particularly music.

I also don't collect anything. Well I do have a large collection of books, but I like to reread my favourites so there is no point getting rid of them. My mother collects things....

6. Spot in Australia: The secluded little unpatrolled beach just up the road from me. You need to walk through a national forrest to get to it, but oh, it is so beautiful and untouched.

8. Car: Been an Audi groupie for just about as long as I can remember. Would looooove an Audi R8.

11. Things to collect: Movie posters. Most of them are still rolled and tucked away but I have some classic posters (fav is a limited edition Pulp Fiction one) and my daughters' rooms are covered in some beautiful kids movie posters (Wall-E and How To Train Your Dragon seem to be their favourites)

May I highly recommend the song Erotik by Kofy Brown. Also, I'm sure you know it but I was stuck on YouTube last night enjoying different versions of Lior's This Old Love.

1. Time of Day: Lunch - It's the only time I get to see me friends these days (between work, uni, etc), and it comes complete with a delicious meal!
2. Food: Mashed potatoes. Ideally with lots of tasty extras like spring onion, bacon, and cheese

Ha ha. Mash potatoes, I kind of have them pretty high on my list of fav. foods as well. But my son has mash potatoes with everything. If there are left overs he'll even put in on a sandwich for lunch. :)

You forgot 'The Usual Suspects' which was my favourite Spacey film. Just the evil look on his face as he walked away from the courthouse and his limp gradually disappeared - Wicked!

Bat Out of Hell is excellent! I love the album and the song, but I can't pick a favourite! Bat is great, Paradise (By the Dashboard Light), 2 Out of 3 Ain't Bad, and You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth - I can't choose between those four from that album! And I've always got his Hot Patootie from Rocky Horror playing in the car, too...when the car starts, that is! :-)

2. Food: A really well cooked Steak Dianne done Medium with loads of fresh salad
3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic): Can't beat coffee or the occasional Vodka & Chocolate Milk [sounds disgusting but mmmmm very nice]
4. Band/singer: Kiss - I'm still stuck in a time warp
5. Actor: I really love Tommy Lee Jones or Bruce Willis
6. Spot in Australia: Blue Lake on North Stradbroke Island, indescribably beautiful and as much as I've travelled I've never seen anything finer
7. Team/Sport: Hawthorn - love my Aussie Rules
8. Car: In my dreams? A Lamborghini. For real? My little Daihatsu that I call the Rice Bubble as it's so small

I was listening to the radio yesterday. Apparently its only girls who name their cars. (60% of women, this was on a footy show so don't quote me.) I think my car would get on well with yours. As I mentioned earlier her name is Betty Bubble. :)
