In years past there was a "Finish Line" folder where you could move your thread once you reached 50. Do we have that this year? This may have been talked about already but since I wasn't at 50 yet I just wasn't paying attention!

I'm in for the long hall. This was my first attempt & I'm using it as a benchmark to see if the 100 book challenge is feasible. I know I read that many, but I started my thread stating I wouldn't include all the trashy romances (many only middling good) I read to feed my unfortunate addiction. So this is to see if I can read that many books that I would happily recommend to someone else.
It would be nice to have a thread that listed everyone who's completed.

I've just finished and was wondering where all the threads go when the challenge is completed. Like Donna I'm using the challenge to see how far I can actually go. With 3 months left I'll never make 100. I think the next step would be the 70 books a year challenge?

Joanie, I was just wondering the same thing. Since I've officially finished my 50 for the year, I was going to move my thread. However, I saw a retired folder for 2008, and the finish line folder for 2009, but nothing for 2010 yet. Mods? New folder for 2010 please?

In 2009, while people were working on their challenges, they each had a folder in the alphabetical sections by name. This year heaps of people have their working 50 lists in this General folder. It's almost embarrassing how annoying this has been to me. I feel like the whole group has been a lot less fun this year because the general folder is so messy.

I think the whole group just got too big to manage.

Also, that's why it was nice to have some sort of "finished" folder for each year -- otherwise, the alphabetical folders would get cluttered with current and old lists.

I am not even sure what happened to my 2009 folder. Probably got moved to the end of the K list or somewhere in the middle. I don't know how to move my 2010 folder or any folder for that matter:-)

I finished with 3 extra, I will share with you!!

I made 46...probably 20 more than I would have read without this challenge! On to another 50!

I read 89. Kinda bummed I didn't make 100.

I read 48, 2 less of the goal. Onward to 2011!!

I did this in 2009 and 2010 and I never made 50 yet. It may not sound like much but I read 42 this year, 1 up from last year. At least I'm going up and not down...

I made it to 61! Had never gotten beyond 50 before, so I'm happy. Congrats and Happy New Year to everyone. Guess I'll start a new thread under A-E with my 2011 books.
