Mark Billingham, starting with Sleepyhead
Michael Koryta, starting with Tonight I Said Goodbye
William Kent Krueger, starting with Iron Lake.
Also, although not a series I highly recommend John Hart's books, which are also all available on Kindle.
Happy reading!

John Sandford has two excellent series:
The "Prey" series features Minneapolis/St. Paul detecetive Lucas Davenport. There are a bajillion of them, don't know if they are all available on Kindle but they are so worth it.
The second series is much newer, and I think there are only three. It stars detective Virgil Flowers. Davenport is a minor character in these, mostly off stage, so I don't think too much is given away about his own personal life that would "spoiler" your read-in-order proclivities.

Why not go international? There are some wonderful books in series by foreign authors -- Arnaldur Indridason writes a fine detective series, as does Jo Nesbo, Henning Mankell, Hakan Nesser, and they're all easily available in the US.

Wow, thanks! It didn't open for me with the index.aspx extension but once I removed that, I fell in love :) And since I now have a Nook with WIFI, I can easily tell at the library or bookstore where to start reading a series. Between this and , I may never stop adding to my TBR list!

So many books, so little time!

Daniel Silva - Gabriel Allon Series
Lee Child - Jack Reacher Series
Barry Eisler - John Rain
Robert Crais - Elvis Cole/Joe Pike
Michael Connelly - Harry Bosch
Now I'm looking for something new. Any suggestions?
was thinking about Vince Flynn, but looks like it might be too political. the James Lee Burke ones look good as well, but not sure they are all available on Kindle and I like to read them from the start. Thanks for any suggestions!
